After four years in the U.S. Marine Corps, I started my legal career in 1969 as a public defender and trial lawyer. So I am not afraid of much in this life, and I am certainly not shy about taking cases to court when necessary to fully vindicate a client's rights, which I have done dozens of times. In the process, I have won settlements and verdicts totaling many millions of dollars for my clients - victims of unnecessary negligence, carelessness, and mistakes by people who need to be held accountable.
